The Farce: “Committee to Stop FBI Repression”
"The FBI is surveilling them so they must be revolutionary" and other lies (Part 2)
The Farce: “Committee to Stop FBI Repression”
A very similar circumstance to the APSP raid occurred around 12 years before. We should return to it so that we may get context.
On September 24, 2010, the FBI raided the homes of some 14 “anti-war activists” and issued them summons to appear before a grand jury under investigation of financially supporting the Popular Front for The Liberation of Palestine.1 Most of these activists were affiliated with Freedom Road Socialist Organization/FightBack! (FRSO), some with the Anti-War Committee (itself an affiliate of UNAC and International Action Center).
Shortly afterwards, under the direction of the WWP/IAC they would create The Committee to Stop FBI Repression (CSFR).2 They released many announcements claiming that this was a new red scare and that Socialists were under attack.
So, what did the socialists do? They went to talk to congress of course!
After meeting with over a dozen members of the US Kongress, these so-called socialists ended up getting off without any jail time or even having to appear before court!
While we cannot know what was said at these meetings, the fact is that FRSO arranged a meeting with officials in the Amerikan occupation government, and after the meeting they got off. What they did in effect was equivalent to snitching.
At the very same time, political prisoners like Russell Maroon Shoatz, and many many actual targets of COINTELPRO repression died in prison or are still serving life sentences and only get released when they are nearing death. Russell Maroon Shoatz was released in October 2021 and passed away only a few months later.
This stark contrast becomes even more concerning when we realize that many of the “Political Prisoner Support” groups are appendages of the Non-Profit Industrial Complex (NPIC) or the WPSLCIA Hydra—sometimes both. The WWP front group “Millions for Mumia” has been at the forefront of “support” for Mumia Abu Jamal for over 20 years; WWP 2016 presidential candidate Monica Moorhead used to head the organization.3
We are reminded of revolutionary Martin Sostre’s always-relevant testimony against WWP over 50 years ago: 4
I personally experienced this leftist anti-revolutionary opportunism and racism at the hands of YAWF, who purportedly was supporting me when I was framed. In eight months time, from the time I was framed till the time of sentence, they never were able to raise anywhere near the $ 12,500 bail money required to get me out on bail. Nor were they able to find anyone who would put up property to cover the $12,500 bail.
Yet I noticed that when the white college students were busted at University of Buffalo during the anti-war, ROTC and Themis Project campaigns, YAWF would hold huge money raising campaigns and rallies, and dozens of students would immediately get out on bail with the thousands of dollars raised .
…
Sometimes it is better for the party line to keep the Black victim in jail rather than get him out on bail. Never mind that he is locked in a cage 23 hours a day like an animal, suffering hunger every day, being brutalized, away from his family, etc. The important thing is that he is the rallying point around which the Black community can be mobilized and in the process fed the party line.”
Returning to the Committee against FBI Repression, we see the an extremely similar pattern here. After the FRSO members were let off the hook, the FBI used some of the evidence acquired from those raids to indict Palestinian revolutionary Rasmea Odeh in 2013 for immigration fraud.5
Odeh was a Palestinian political prisoner during the 60’s and 70’s and was convicted to life in prison in ‘Israel’. In 1979, she was freed along with seventy-five other Palestinian political prisoners in a prisoner exchange for a captured Zionist occupation soldier.6 She then lived in Jordan and, in 1995, she moved to the United States to live with her family.
After her 2013 indictment The Committee Against FBI Repression began leading the “support movement” under the name “Justice4Rasmea”.7 Odeh spent time in jail and eventually accepted a plea bargain. As part of the plea bargain she was deported in 2017 in what these fraudulent anti-war leftists disturbingly referred to as "a victory".8
Note the difference: in one instance a National Liberation Movement used every available method to secure Odeh’s freedom. In the other instance, the ‘solidarity movement’ begged the courts and settled for deportation ensuring she would not ever see her family again.
The Palestinian Resistance has carried out multiple prisoner exchanges with the Zionist entity over the decades since 1979 and have integrated such practices into their Strategy for national liberation. In 2011, At the very same time that the FRSO was snitching to congress, the Palestinian resistance secured the freedom of 1,027 political prisoners in exchange for one singular occupation soldier.9 One of the liberated Palestinian prisoners during this event was revolutionary Yaha Al-Sinwar, one of the founders of Hamas. Al-Sinwar has since been central to Hamas’ military strategy of building regional alliances against the Zionist entity.
In contrast, the CSFR and APSP, the WWPSLCIA Hydra, the NPIC, and the rest of the “amnesty movement” in the amerikan left have no political-military strategy for liberation. And they have no plans of doing so. Their work is a dead end that only benefits settler profiteers and those who forge False Internationalist Class-Alliances with them.
We are left wondering:
If the FRSO and friends could get charges dropped for their entire crew just by talking to a few government officials, then why are the political prisoners they “support” still rotting in jail?
How was the “strategy” for the liberation of political prisoners in the United States been reduced to “amnesty” and who benefits from such a “strategy”?

Their website lists the International Action Center as the founder— An Archive of IAC shows the same:
“Mobilization 4 Mumia” also lists IAC as a founder… Ramsey Clark, one of the architects of COINTELPRO was a keynote speaker at this event in 2000 “in support of” COINTELPRO victim Mumia Abu-Jamal. Let that sink in…
